Mos Mosh is proud members of Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) and during the first year of membership we are targeting to reach 70% of our cotton consumption being sourced supporting responsibly grown cotton. Our BCI registration number is 1006072
Furthermore, our denim suppliers are using the newest technologies to minimize the use of water and chemicals. Using both Laser and closed systems in the laundry. We only work with trusted denim suppliers with years of experience and 100% of our denim is produced within Europe.
Our main supplier is currently working on a new 100% sustainable production site due to be finished by the end of 2019.
We work mainly with natural fibers such as Cotton, Viscose and silk. Sometimes we have to use polyester or polyamide blends, but in those cases we are working on using recycled fiber. A good example of this is our Sustainable Blake program using recycled polyamide.
We haven’t used fur for several years and we also don’t use Angora.
All our Jeans production is in Europe. We work with only 3 very talented suppliers that all working to reduce the use of chemicals in the production of jeans. We follow REACH for all our products to make sure there is no harmful chemicals in our cloths. We will continue to strive for further reductions in waste. We are aware of our responsibilities for nature and people and it should be absolutely possible to wear fashionable clothes and not have to feel guilty about it.
We use many sustainable fabrics among those; organic cotton, Better cotton, Tencel, Lyocel, EcoVero and recycled polyamide.

We are working very intensively to reduce our packaging and waste. This year all our polybags will we be 100% recycled. We sort our waste here in the office to set a good example. And we are working towards further reductions.
All our cardboard package is FSC and recycle as much as possible.
